What's Your Position?

Rome wasn't built in a day, and sometimes, for business owners, building and sustaining their business is like running in a marathon that never ends.

How to keep on track?  How to maximise opportunities?

Key for every business is to have a very clear view of who the customer is, and what the value proposition is for their product or service.

Clearly articulated, it's one way to ensure that you're using the most of your resources to maximise your impact in the market, and to shorten your sales cycle.

Elevator pitches are a great marketing tool to help you articulate your value proposition.  Try scripting yours today, and to give you a helping hand we've got a template you can get started with:

Dublin has been a winter wonderland lately.

Unfortunately this has meant that some events have been postponed until the New Year.

Definetly looking forward to the Irish Software Association's TechBrew event on Product Management - to be scheduled for Jan 2011.

Apparently 125 interested parties had signed up for the December event.

As a past participant of Going for Growth, I'd highly recommend the initiative to women entrepreneurs who are serious about growing their businesses:

Going for Growth are offering an opportunity to 60 women entrepreneurs who are commited to growing their businesses to participate in the newest cycle of the programme.

Suitable applicants will have at least 2 years running their business of which they own at least 50%, be working full time in the business, and be willing to commit fully to the initiative.

Going for Growth has successfully run two cycles, and over 100 women entrepreneurs have benefited from the participation.

Going for Growth was included by the EU Commission in the 2009 Good Practises and voted into the Top 10 as most beneficial to implement.
